Scope and Content
Abe Morales, a long-time resident of Gary, donated this collection of photographs and programs documenting the history of Latinos in Gary. Photographs depict activities of the Gary Latin American Democrats, the VFW Post 1563, migrant literacy classes, and other Latino subjects. The programs were produced by several Latino organizations, including the Sociedad Mutualista Mexico in Gary.
