Abstract
Charles M. Mackay served as a freight and passenger agent for the Pennsylvania Railroad in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. He was assigned to Gary, at the Clarke Station and later to Valparaiso. He penned some memoirs of his years at those depots, which are included in this collection. Two photographic postcards offer a brief glimpse of the Valparaiso depot.
